SUMMER 2010 Agility Class Schedule

MONDAY – session begins June 21, 2010

5:30 – Intermediate I Agility

6:30 – Intermediate II Agility

7:30 – Advanced/Competition Agility

NEW Summer Session II Schedule is as follows:

TUESDAYS (starting August 3):
5:30pm: Adv. Beginner
6:30pm: Intermediate
7:30pm: Advanced/competition

THURSDAYS (starting August 5):
5:30pm: Intermediate: small dog class
6:30pm: Intermediate: bigger dog class
7:30pm: Advanced/competition

Introduction to the Control Unleashed Games

Class taught by Debra Theriault, a Certified Pet Dog Trainer and member of APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers)

Control Unleashed is well suited for dogs that become distracted, nervous or upset in the presence of other dogs and distractions. Pet dogs and dogs that participate in sports can benefit from the CU program. Dogs with serious aggression issues are not appropriate for CU and some private assessment and work is recommended to prepare them for participation in a class.

Intro to Control Unleashed Games
Based on the wonderful book, Control Unleashed by Leslie McDevitt, this four week course will
introduce you and your dog to some of the foundation exercises and games
that make up the Control Unleashed (CU) program for developing focus and confidence in your
dog. Excellent for both the pet owner and the dog sports enthusiast!

SATURDAYS, June 5, 12, 26, July 10; 1pm - 2:30pm
Session Cost: $105

Reactive Dog Classes

* Reactive Dog 2: 7:15pm. Continue to reap the rewards of your Reactive Dog 1 training. Reactive Dog 2 will give you the opportunity to train in an environment of increased distraction. You and your dog will build duration of calm behavior and you will have some fun too! Reactive Dog 2 will give you the continuing skills and motivation to be a calmer handler/dog team when out in public.
